If you are passionate about storytelling and dream of publishing a comic to a wider audience, you are welcome here.

Whether you are a seasoned comic artist, working with mixed media or you are using emerging technologies like AI, OZU is here to offer you an opportunity to publish in a place where the only rule is to tell a great story.

Our ultimate goal is to help comic creators publish their own stories and make money by introducing new distribution models.

For this reason, we are launching the first series of comic challenges with the goal of discovering the best storytellers and supporting them to publish and promote their original stories.

Challenge Season 1: One-shot Horrors

Our first Challenge Season will begin on November 7, 2023. It will be dedicated to the genres of horror, mystery, thriller, or anything that gives you goosebumps.

All you have to do to participate is to submit an original short story.

In each challenge, there will be three winners. For the next six months, we will host 5 challenges, award 15 winners, and give away more than 30,000 USD in creator grants to the most creative and dedicated storytellers.

Who can join a challenge

Challenges are open to anyone who is truly passionate about creating comics and are free to join.

Winners will receive real money in the form of creator grants.

For this reason, we have established a few requirements:

• You must demonstrate that you have been a genuine comic creator for at least the past six months.
• You need to connect at least one social media account (Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter). We will soon include other social platforms like DeviantArt and ArtStation for profile verification.
• When verifying your profile, please provide as much information as possible about yourself. This includes a link to your portfolio or any published work you may have on other platforms.

Once you have submitted your verification request, we will send you an email soon to let you know that the profile is good to go.
